Bugan Coffee Lab

Roaster in Bergamo

Bugan Coffee Lab is a specialty coffee micro roastery located in Bergamo, in the north of Italy. It is known in the Italian coffee scene as roasting some of the lightest specialty coffees in the country.

Owner Maurizio Valli was always intrigued by the aroma of coffee as a young child. He began roasting on his own and went professional, opening Bugan Coffee Lab roastery in 2014. Maurizio only roasts single origin beans in his offerings.

The roastery is one of the four spaces found inside the Bugan Coffee Lab (Città Bassa) in Bergamo, in the modern lower part of the city. You can also visit the Bugan Coffee Lab (Città Alta) specialty coffee cafe in the medieval upper city.
